The mission of the G.E.M.S. Mentoring Program is to empower young girls in our community to make positive life choices that enable them to maximize their personal potential.

G.E.M.S. Mentoring Program envisions a community in which every girl experiences nurturing and mentorship from an individualized needs-based perspective combined with holistic community and sisterhood support. This dynamic, unique, and specifically designed fellowship allows each girl to develop into her full potential. The pay-off comes to fruition as these girls develop into young ladies that are consciously capable of making informed and responsible decisions as involved members of our community. They are then empowered to pay it forward with other girls in their community and repeat this ever-evolving process of empowerment through mentorship & sisterhood.
OUR DESIGN
G.E.M.S is a mentoring program for young girls in grades 6-12 which seeks to help young girls excel by providing positive affirmation, fostering safe spaces where honest dialogue can go forth, exploring healthy emotional management, problem solving and decision-making skills, goal setting, and the use of journaling.
LET'S GET STARTED
G.E.M.S. is an eight-week program. Each week/course is designed to build one on top of the other. Upon graduation from the program, there will be 8 weeks of follow-up with the youth.
